On occasion, I love me some Wal Mart. Just today I found a portable Crayola art easel for more then $5 less then Toys R Us and Target. Household supplies are usually cheaper and they have some pretty good smelly candles. BUT, why is it that *every* Wal Mart attracts certain types of people? Don't act all high & mighty...you know who I'm talking about. Mullet Man...and Woman. Woman wearing size 10 pants when she should be in a size 20 and insists on flaunting her tramp stamp. Bra-less old lady. Butt-crack man. Pregnant smoker out front. Oh and don't forget the lazy-eyed greeter.
By shocking contrast, the city that this Wal Mart is located is actually a little highfalutin. Million dollar homes and Mercedes abound. There is another Wal Mart about 5 miles away in a more middle class area. Why are the carnies coming to the this particular Wal Mart? It isn't stocked any better, isn't any cleaner, the parking is just as bad. What's the draw? Why do I care? I guess I had nothing else to contemplate today.
